The second display can be located near the POS and connected with a cable. Customer display can be an entirely independent device, like a mobile or tablet that has the capability to open a web browser.
Secondary Screen as Informative Client Screen
There is a way to set your POS secondary screen as an interactive client display. The screen is attached to the POS, facing the client.
It generally shows a web application that shows the client the products or services added to the cart, quantities of those products and services, and total cost of the cart.
If your secondary screen supports touch input, clients can use the screen to register as clients of your store and give tips to the cashier.
How To Set up the Client Display?
The setup process is made rather simple and easy to understand. Navigate to POS Settings -> Plugins, find the Customer Display plugin and enable it. Open the customer display configurations by clicking on Configure Plugin and press Show pass phrase.
On the connection configuration page, there is a particular field needed to establish a connection between the POS and client display web application. Copy the value in the Name field.
Open the Customer display web application and paste the value from the POS Settings into the Enter code shown on POS field.

Now, once you Connect to POS, you will have established a connection between the web application and POS.
