This article covers the PAX/Shift4 integration setup for Super Wrapper application.
Steps
- Open POS Application from start page and open Settings by pressing on the cog in upper-right corner
- Press payment configuration
- Press setup payment gateways
- Select “PAX / Shift4” as current integration
- Configure “Connection type” field according to your terminal connection type (it depends on terminal - D210 is Bluetooth, S300 is WiFi for an example)
- Bluetooth
- Press “Scan Bluetooth devices”
- Application asks for bluetooth permission - allow it in order to search for bluetooth terminals
- Choose desired device from “Bluetooth connection” selection
- Press “Test connection” in order to see if connection works - “Connection succeeded” is shown on screen when connection is successful
- WiFi
- Configure “Device IP” according to your PAX device IP
- Configure “Device Port” according to your PAX device port(default is 10009)
- Press “Test connection” in order to see if connection works - “Connection succeeded” is shown on screen when connection is successful
- Bluetooth
How to get IP from PAX WiFi terminal - PAX S300?
- Access the menu on the terminal press Func + “1” buttons
- The default password is today's date (displayed on the terminal, format: MMDDYYYY)
- To get the device IP address navigate in the menu to “Communication” -> “LAN Parameters” -> “IP Address”
If the connection does not succeed, the connection protocol might be incorrect:
- When using the web integration the protocol must be set to HTTP GET in the terminal settings.
- When using the wrapper integration the protocol must be set to TCP/IP in the terminal settings.
- To change the protocol navigate in the terminal menu to “Communication” -> “ECR. Comm Type” -> “Ethernet” -> Press OK on the port screen -> Select suitable protocol
