Verifying Customer Picture and Loyalty Card Number

Overview

This guide outlines the process for verifying a customer’s loyalty information and picture on the POS. Cashiers will be able to quickly validate customer identities and loyalty details.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. View Customer Information:

  • Once the customer is selected, a new screen will automatically open.
  • This screen will display the customer’s picture and their Customer Loyalty Card Code.

 

2. Review Customer Details:

  • Verify that the displayed picture matches the customer at the POS.
  • Confirm that the Customer number is correct as per the loyalty information.

3. Action Buttons:

  • Cancel Button: Click "Cancel" if the details do not match or if the customer does not wish to proceed. This will close the view without adding the customer to the shopping cart.
  • Select Button: Click "Select" to confirm the customer and proceed with adding them to the shopping cart for their purchase.

4. Complete the Sale:

  • Continue with the sales process, knowing that the customer’s loyalty details are verified and correctly linked.

5. Configuration:

  • This setting is configurable in the POS configuration under Role Settings, where you can enable or disable the validation of the customer’s picture before making any purchase.
