Split Order (Brazil POS)

(Available in Brazil POS from 4.52.8 version)

Step 1

In order to enable the Split Order functionality at the POS you need to go to the Back Office ->  Settings -> Configuration -> Sales Orders and Fulfillment.

Enable the setting “Partial fulfillment splits sales order”.

Click Save.

Step 2

In the Back Office click on the Apps -> App Store.

Search for the app “POS Split Order App”. Install the latest version.

Step 3

In the Brazil POS make sure that you have at least 4.52.8 version enabled. If not, please change the version using Version Control. Here is a guide on how to enable it and change versions. 

Workflow description

In order to split the order at the POS please select the order from the list of pickup orders.
Click on it and you will see the popup with options:

  • Split Order (this option is available only if you have a BO setting enabled(check Step 1), needed app is installed from the App Store and the order has multiple products in a document)
  • Pick up Order
  • Cancel Order

Click on the “Split order”.
The “Split Order form” is opened with the list of products from the order.
Select a product(s) that you would like to split and pick up. 
Click ‘Split’. 
The product will be automatically populated in the POS shopping cart.
Proceed with the Pay button and pay for a selected product(s).

Once the order is partially picked up in the Back Office there will be one more order created with the same document number and there will be “- 2” in the end of the order number (example: 100666-2). This new order with “- 2” was created for already picked up products and is linked to the invoice. 

Once remaining products from the initial order are also picked up, the initial order will be linked to the invoice as well. The order with “- 2” will also remain in the system.
