Wiki App and Wiki Admin Overview

WIKI App Overview

Wiki App allows you to upload documentations or articles that are accessible by certain users in the company. 

• Users that have access to the ERPLY System

There are two Wiki apps available at the App Store:

1. Wiki Admin – allows you to publish, modify and delete articles
2. Wiki App – allows you to view the wiki articles that are published

To install the application: 

1. On your Erply Dashboard click on “Browse all apps” or “apps” from the menu bar

1. In the app store, search and install both Wiki Admin and Wiki App

Managing Categories and Articles 

Step 1: Follow the pop-up instructions to get started.

Step 2: Name the category you want to create and click Save

Step 3: Right-click the name to manage categories, subcategories, and articles.

• Click + Sub to create a subcategory
• Click the pencil icon to edit the selection
• Click + Article to add an article under the selected category or subcategory

To add an article:

1. Right-click on the category where you want to add the article and press "+ Article". This can be any main category or any subcategory.
2. Create an article description. Make sure it is clear and concise.
3. Write the article in the text block provided under the title section.
4. Once all the fields are filled, click the "Post Article" button. You will be automatically redirected to another page where You can edit the article You just created.
5. Note: The "Article Description" and the "Article Content" fields must be filled in before clicking "Post Article." Otherwise, the button will remain inactive. Additionally, AI-generated translations will be available if the article was originally generated using AI. Refer to the section: "Use AI for articles."

To Delete an article : 

Right click the article on your left navigation panel and hit delete. 

To hide or mark the article inactive : 

1. Open the article while in Wiki Admin
2. Uncheck the “Save as ACTIVE” option
3. Then Save Article to update the status

To View the published articles: 

1. Go back to the Appstore and open the Wiki App
2. View the articles that you published
