POS Devices

POS Devices display all devices using Flax POS. When a computer is used to sign into a specific register, it automatically associates with that device, ensuring that the next login will directly sign in to the correct register. This helps prevent users from accidentally selecting the wrong register.

Additionally, POS Devices allows you to remove a device. For instance, if Computer A is signed into Register 1 and you want to use it for Register 2 instead, you can delete the device from POS Devices, log out, and log back into Flax POS. After doing so, you can select the desired location and register, and it will be automatically saved in POS Devices.

Steps:

1. In Erply's Back Office, navigate to the homepage by clicking the Erply logo in the upper left corner.
2. Select My Apps and find Flax POS Configurations. If it is not installed, go to the App Store and search for Flax POS Configurations.
3. Click Open once it appears.
4. Select POS Devices from the left menu.
5. On the right, you'll see a list of all devices using Flax POS.
6. To delete a device, click the trash bin icon on the right.
7. Log out and sign back into Flax POS to choose a location and register to re-associate the device.

Things to Know:

POS Devices in Flax POS functions similarly to Associate POS in POS Brazil. However, in POS Brazil, clearing the browser cache will erase the Associate POS settings, requiring reconfiguration. In contrast, with POS Devices in Flax POS, the settings are saved even after clearing the cache. They will only be deleted if you choose to remove them under Flax POS Configurations.
