Matrix Export Using New PIM
Exporting Matrix Parents and Variations
Navigate to your Back Office → PIM → New PIM.
From this view, it is possible to export all matrix products with their variations as seen by selecting Matrix Product Export.
Once you select Matrix Product Export, the following screen will appear:
From this view, it is possible to apply filters for which Matrix Products and Variations are to be exported. Filtering is possible based on:
- Product Groups
- Categories
- Brands
- Priority Groups
- Families
- Suppliers
- Products
- Locations
- Status
Once you’ve chosen the appropriate filters, simply select the Export button in the top right corner.
This will generate a .xlsx file like the one seen below:
Matrix variations in Erply are the same type as regular products so when updating information on variations only, without needing to update the matrix structure, you should use the Import Products tool for regular products.
If you are starting from a Matrix Export file, you will need to remove the matrix parent rows by filtering on column L Type before updating variation information and updating the resulting file using the Import Products tool and selecting Update products.
