Customer Registration

How to register a new customer through the Customer display?

Following steps must be taken: 

  1. Make sure that the “Accepting customer creation form opens the form in POS '' option is selected (under the POS settings - Plugins - Customer display plugin - configure plugin button)
  2. Click on the green “screen” icon in the POS menu bar, then click on the “Sent customer form to the display” button (person and “+” icon)
  3. The customer creation form appears on the customer´s display, where customers can fill all the input fields (email, first and last name fields are required)
  4. Customer must fill out all of the required fields
  5. Click Confirm
  6. Click on the “Accept” button on the POS menu bar
  7. Afterwards the customer creation form will appear on the POS screen with information which was entered previously on the Customer display
  8. Add missing information if it is needed and click Save
  9. New customer is created successfully and is selected automatically in the POS

Customer Search

There is 3 options how the customer can found on the Customer Display:

  • email
  • registry code
  • phone

How it works?

  1. Click on the green “screen” icon in the POS menu bar, then click on the “Search customer by field"
  2. There will be three options displayed in the list (email, registry code, phone)
  3. Select on of them
  4. The Lookup customer section will appear on the Customer display
  5. Customer can enter the email address and click on the green checkmark to confirm
  6. On the POS screen please click on the “Accept” button from the POS menu bar on the top of the screen

Edit Customer information

  1. Select the customer from POS customer search.
  2. Click on the customer icon.
  3. Press the Monitor button on the customer information view in the top right corner. This will open the form to edit the data on the Customer Display.
  4. Once it is submitted by the customer, the cashier should accept or decline changes on the POS side (there will be two buttons on the top of the POS screen). 
  5. The POS customer edit form will be opened on the POS side. The cashier can see edited information. If everything is correct the form can be saved.
  6. Once a cashier presses the Save button on the POS side, a customer will see “Your update was successful!” message on the Customer Display side.
