Erply has released a critical update to Brazil POS: version 4.51.38. This update removes a library named “polyfill.io” that has just been reported as compromised and could serve malware, according to security researchers.
To ensure your safety:
- Please ask all point-of-sale attendants to refresh Brazil POS, to update it to the latest version. On Windows, the key combination Ctrl + F5 performs a full reload. Ensure that the address bar says “epos.erply.com/latest”. If there is a version number in the address instead, it should be replaced with “latest”.
- The version number is displayed in the top left corner. Please make sure it says “4.51.38".
- We have disabled all Brazil POS version preferences (POS Version Control) and made 4.51.38 the only sanctioned version.
