The Issue New Gift Card on Return Plugin is a useful tool in the Erply Brazil POS system that modifies the return functionality by providing an option to issue a new serial gift card as a refund method. This plugin enhances the return process by adding a new section called "Issue New Serial Gift Card" when the gift card payment type is selected in the payment modal. Create a New Gift Card Type
Navigate to the Back Office -> Retail -> Gift Card Types.
Click “New +” to create a new gift card type.
Click Save.
Enable and configure at the POS
Login to Erply Brazil POS using your login credentials.
Navigate to the POS Settings -> Plugins.
Search for Issue New Gift Card on Return plugin.
Enable the plugin by ticking the checkbox.
Click on the Configure Plugin button to access the configuration settings.
In the configuration settings, choose the desired gift card type from the available options. This selection will determine the type of gift card issued during the return process. If set to "none," the gift card type field will be left empty.
After selecting the gift card type, click on the Save button to save the configuration changes.
Testing
At the Erply Brazil POS perform a regular sale.
Navigate to the Recent Sales and perform and start return for the previously performed sale.
During the return process, on the payment screen, select the gift card payment type that you previously created.
After completing the return, verify that new gift cards have been issued to the customer. To do this, navigate to Back Office > Retail > Gift Cards and check if the newly issued gift cards are displayed.
