Role Settings

This page displays the configuration for each role. All roles created under the Manage Roles page can be viewed here.
To customize permissions, select a role from the dropdown menu, and the permissions will be displayed.
Always click the "Save Configuration" button after updating permissions to ensure changes are applied.
Cash in and Cash out
- This setting determines whether a specific user role can perform Cash In and Cash Out transactions.
- Yes - Users with this role will have access to the Cash In and Cash Out menu in the POS.
- No - The Cash In and Cash Out menu will not be visible in the POS.

Customers
- Customer search
- These settings customize how customers can be searched in the POS.
- Yes - Users in the specified role can search for customers by that option. For example, if "User group is allowed to search customers by phone" is set to "Yes," the phone number field will appear as a search option in the POS.
- No - The phone number field (or other specified field) will not be visible as a search option in the POS.

- User group needs to confirm customer addition to cart by approving their image
- This setting allows you to enable the option of checking the customer’s image before they can proceed with the purchase otherwise you can disable it.
Discounts
- Maximum discount %
- Sales Orders can not be discounted by the User Group
- Once this permission is enabled, sales orders cannot include any discounts, promotions, or manual discounts. Only the original prices can be applied to the products, and the sale must be completed at these original prices.

Products
- Maximum allowed quantity in the shopping cart
- This field sets the maximum allowed quantity for scanning in the shopping cart and only accepts 999 quantities.

Returns

- User can return the sales referenced return (Yes or No)
- Yes - Once this is enabled, the user group will be able to process invoice or item returns.
- No - Once this is enabled, the user group will not be able to process invoice or item returns.
- User can return the unreferenced return (Yes or No)
- These are the products that were not purchased in-store.
- Yes - Once this is enabled, the user group will be able to process unreferenced returns.
- No - Once this is enabled, the user group will not be able to process unreferenced returns.
- User can return the non returnable products with the referenced return (Yes or No)
- How to identify the non-returnable products
- Yes - Once this is enabled, the user group will be allowed to process non-returnable products in invoice or item returns.
- No - Once this is enabled, the user group will not be allowed to process non-returnable products in invoice or item returns.
- User can return the non returnable products with the unreferenced return (Yes or No)

- Yes - Once this is enabled, the user group will be allowed to process non-returnable products in unreferenced returns.
- No - Once this is enabled, the user group will not be allowed to process non-returnable products in unreferenced returns.
- Return policy number of days
- This field sets the number of days allowed for returns. This is just a label in the return transaction indicating that the item was purchased outside the specified date, but the cashier or manager can still process the return.
- User can return the sales referenced return (Yes or No)
Day closing
- Notes are required (Yes or No)
- If adding notes when ending the day is required, enable this setting.
- Reason code is required (Yes or No)
- If adding reason code when ending the day is required, enable this setting.
- Closing day expected amount is visible (Yes or No)
- If you want a specific user role to view the expected amount, enable this setting.

- If you want a specific user role to view the Z-report, enable this setting.
Payments

- If you want to allow customers to use the check payment tender, enable this setting.
- Custom payment type (Yes or No)
- If you want to allow customers to use the custom payment tender, enable this setting.

- Store Credit payment (Yes or No)
- If you want to allow customers to use the store credit payment tender, enable this setting.
- This setting places a limit that restricts the customer from paying only within the specified amount set in the field. Leave the field empty if no limit is required.
- Capture check numbers
- This setting ensures that the check number is added before checkout. Once enabled, a pop-up will appear prompting for the check number.
- Check payment type (Yes or No)
