In this article, we have a few suggestions for labels printers.
There are three types of label printers: Thermal Transfer, Direct Thermal and Laser Printers.
Direct Thermal printer advantage is that the only consumable is cheap labels. The disadvantage is that the labels are not wear and chemical resistant.
Thermal Transfer printer advantages are that high-quality, long-lasting labels.
If the labels need to be wear-resistant, we suggest a thermal transfer printer, not direct thermal.
Direct thermal printing does not last long; labels are paper, they are sensitive to disinfectant and might fade over time.
Thermal transfer printers can print on polyester labels and with high wear-resistant resign ribbons give resistance to chemicals and long-lasting results.
GK420 is an older model but still available. Its successor is ZD420 and later model ZD421.
