What if I am not using microservices?
If you are not using microservices with ERPLY Brazil POS, the Installer certificate update is not necessary for you. This is the case if you are using a mobile app (iOS or Android) or if you are using Brazil POS on a computer without any hardware integration.
In this case please skip this article.
What if I am using POS on mobile device(tablet or phone)?
Mobile POS applications are not using Installer App therefore there is no need to perform any updates with Installer.
ERPLY Brazil POS mobile applications are working based on the SDK - Software Developer Kit.
SDK does not require certificate update.
In this case please skip this article.
What to do if the certificate is not updated and Installer is not working?
If you see the red icon with message “Network error”:

It means that the automatic certificate update failed and you need to reinstall your Installer app manually. In order to do it please follow steps below.
On Windows
Uninstall the previous Installer App:
Find the Installer App on your PC device: navigate to the Control Panel -> Add or remove programs and uninstall the app called Installer (note: please do not remove the folder under the Program Files -> Erply since it might cause some troubles with reinstallation).
Download the new Installer:
Navigate to the Erply Wizard https://posow.erply.com/hardware/installer/installation/*
Login with Erply credentials (Erply ID, username, password).
Navigate to Hardware -> Installer App -> Installation.
Download the file installer2_windows_amd64.msi:
Once the file is downloaded click on it twice and start the installation process.
Once you will see the installation window please click on the “More info” button -> “Run anyway”.
Proceed with installation.
Once installation is finished navigate to the https://posow.erply.com/hardware/installer/installation/* Hardware -> Installer App -> Installation.
Press Test connection to see the Installer App status - there should be a message “Installer is running - v.x.x.x” on a green background:

Navigate back to the POS page and refresh the page. In case it does not help, try to clear the cache and refresh page once more:

On Mac
Uninstall the previous Installer App:
Open a terminal window on your computer (find it via searching among apps)

and paste the following command line:
/Library/Erply/installer2/remove-installer2
Press Enter on your keyboard. You will be required to enter the computer password.
Once the uninstallation is complete, you will need to restart your computer before installing a new Installer App file.
Download the new Installer:
Navigate to the Erply Wizard https://posow.erply.com/hardware/installer/installation/*
Login with Erply credentials (Erply ID, username, password).
Navigate to Hardware -> Installer App -> Installation.
Download the file by clicking on the following link:

Once the file is downloaded click on it and start the installation process.
Important: If the computer does not allow you to install it, please navigate on your computer to the System Settings -> Privacy and Security. In “Security” section click on the Open Anyway:

Continue with installation.
Once installation is finished navigate to the https://posow.erply.com/hardware/installer/installation/* Hardware -> Installer App -> Installation.
Press Test connection to see the Installer App status - there should be a message “Installer is running - v.x.x.x” on a green background:

Navigate back to the POS page and refresh the page. In case it does not help, try to clear the cache and refresh page once more:

On Linux
Uninstall the previous Installer App:
Open a terminal window on your computer (find it via searching among apps) and paste the following command line:
systemctl stop installer2.service
Click Enter. If the terminal requires your password, please enter it.
Now the Installer is stopped.
Download the new Installer:
Navigate to the Erply Wizard https://posow.erply.com/hardware/installer/installation/*
Login with Erply credentials (Erply ID, username, password).
Navigate to Hardware -> Installer App -> Installation.
Download the file by clicking on the following link:

Open a terminal window on your computer and paste the following command line:
systemctl start installer2.service
Click Enter. If the terminal requires your password, please enter it.
Now the Installer is running again.
Once installation is finished navigate to the https://posow.erply.com/hardware/installer/installation/* Hardware -> Installer App -> Installation.
Press Test connection to see the Installer App status - there should be a message “Installer is running - v.x.x.x” on a green background:

Navigate back to the POS page and refresh the page. In case it does not help, try to clear the cache and refresh page once more:
