Product search with floating window plugin purpose is to add an option to search for products on sales or inventory documents with a floating window.

Product search is an available feature in standard Erply account, but it contains less information than option with floating window. More detailed view can only be accessed with a mouse. This plugin combines the best of both keyboard-based navigation and detailed view.
Plugin works in both Classic and Berlin backoffice in given sections:
- new sales invoice, order, quote
- new inventory transfer, registration, write-off
When the plugin is enabled, a floating window will appear for sales documents(invoices, orders, quotes) and inventory documents(inventory transfers, registrations and write-offs) if you enter your search query into the product name field and press Enter.
- Write product code or name on the product field
- Press Enter or Tab.
- A floating window will open up with information about product Code, Name, EAN/UPC, Stock/Reserved/Ordered, Price and Price with VAT.
- To navigate on floating window scroll down/up or move with arrows.
- Active line is surrounded with red line. Clicking on it or pressing Enter will add product on the document.
The price shown in the search box is the price list valid for the selected customer in the selected location.
Clicking on the product code will open up the product tab in a new tab.
The floating window can be moved by clicking on the header and dragging it with the mouse.
If no products are found, the following message is displayed:
