Sales reports in Erply can be used to view and track sales made in the back office and at the POS. All sales reports can be opened as an HTML table or downloaded as a .xls file.

Creating a COGS Report

To create a COGS report, go to Reports -> Cost of Goods Sold.

There are six main categories of COGS reports, each of which has subcategories. All of these reports can be filtered to view different data.

Cost of Goods Sold Summary

Calculates cost based on warehouse value.

Sales Summary

Period: The dates from which the information is gathered. This can be a single date or a range.
Gift Cards: Shows if the information shown includes or excludes gift cards.
Currency: The currency the COGS reports are shown in.

Purchase value: The sum amount of sales based on the wholesale price.
Warehouse value: The sum amount of sales based on the wholesale price.
Net sales total: The sum amount of your sales before tax.
Sales profit: The value from the formula (warehouse value - net sales). Your profit from the warehouse cost.
Profit (a % of revenue): The value from the formula (Net Sales Total - Warehouse value) ÷ Net Sales Total. Percentage of the revenue from the Sales total and Warehouse cost.
Markup (a % of warehouse value): The percentage value of Warehouse cost to fill the Sales profit amount.

By Day

Period: The dates from which the information is gathered. This can be a single date or a range.
Gift Cards: Shows if the information shown includes or excludes gift cards.
Currency: The currency the COGS reports are shown in.

Date: Date in regards to which the information is about.
Sold quantity: Total quantity of items sold.
Purchase value: The sum amount of sales based on the wholesale price.
Warehouse value: The sum amount of sales based on the wholesale price.
Net sales total: The sum amount of your sales before tax.
Net discount total: The sum value of discounts.
Net discount %: The percentage of discounts (in relation to net sales total)
Sales profit: The value from the formula (warehouse value - net sales). Your profit from the warehouse cost.
Profit (a % of revenue): The value from the formula (Net Sales Total - Warehouse value) ÷ Net Sales Total. Percentage of the revenue from the Sales total and Warehouse cost.
Markup (a % of warehouse value): The percentage value of Warehouse cost to fill the Sales profit amount.
Average units per transaction: Average of sold units per sales document.
Average value sold: Average total of a sales document.
# of sales: Number of sales documents.
