Product Scanning
Overview: This guide will help you add the products to a customer's cart using either a product code or a UPC code.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Products can be scanned by the product code
- On the POS screen, click on the "Product" search.
- Use the scanner to scan the product’s product code or manually type the product code into the field.
- The product will automatically appear in the shopping cart with its details (name, price, quantity, etc.).
2. Products can be scanned by the product UPC code
- Ensure the UPC code (Universal Product Code) of the product is visible and ready to be scanned.
- Using the scanner, scan the UPC code of the product.
- The system will recognize the product based on the UPC and add it directly to the shopping cart with the appropriate details.
