Adyen KYC questionnaire for EU customers

September 26, 2025

Once the support agent has notified you that a KYC questionnaire has been sent to you, please check your email box. Note: the link should come from the Adyen platform, not from ERPLY.

Click on the link and follow the instructions.

1.Create a user for Adyen portal

  1. Click on the link that Adyen sent to your email address.
  2. The first thing that you have to do is to create a user for the Adyen portal in order to follow your payments directly from the Adyen system.
  3. Create a username and password.
  4. Now you have to select the method of two-step verification:
    1. Via phone number - while logging into the Adyen portal you will receive a verification code to your mobile phone. In order to configure this method you just need to enter your mobile phone number.
    2. Via authentication app (can be any) - while logging you have to open the authentication app on your mobile device and check the verification code. In order to configure this method you have to download any authentication app and scan the code from the Adyen view to start generating verification codes for the Adyen portal.
  5. Once a user is created you can proceed with the merchant account setup.

3.Tips for smooth approval

  • Make sure all documents are clear scans (not cropped, blurred, or screenshots).
  • Names and addresses must match exactly between documents and what you enter in the form.
  • Upload documents in PDF, JPG, or PNG formats only.
  • If you’re a sole trader, you’ll provide a personal ID and bank statement in your name instead of company documents.
  • If multiple UBOs exist (e.g., 2 shareholders at 50/50), provide KYC for each one.

4. After submission

  • Adyen’s compliance team reviews everything (usually 1–5 business days).
  • If something is missing or unclear, they’ll request corrections via the CA or by email.
  • You’ll see the status of your verification in the Customer Area.
