How to enable custom prompts for a product?

That to get a custom prompts exact product must have an specific attribute, that can be added at the Back Office.

At the Back Office select a product which needs to have a custom prompt.

Go to the attributes and create a new one. Configure the attribute the following way:

  • NAME: custom_prompts
  • TYPE: text
  • VALUE (can be whatever) - it will be a title of custom prompts

Save changes.

Navigate to the POS and add this product into the shopping cart.

The following popup will appear:

Enter needed information into the field and click on “done”.

Product was added into the shopping cart with the correctly displayed additional information that was added at the custom prompt popup.

If you would like to edit previously entered information it is possible to do it in the field in the product card.

Select a payment tender and finalize the sale.

Previously added information will be also displayed on a Back Office document and POS receipt:
