Overview
This guide outlines how to set up and manage quick keys within the POS using groups, subgroups, and hierarchical configurations at different levels: Company, Location, and Register.
Adding the Quick Keys in the POS
- On the right-hand side of the POS screen, locate the Quick Keys button.
- Click the Quick Keys button to see all the groups configured in the POS configuration. You can see the product images added in the Back Office if there’s any.
- Select an item to add it directly to the shopping cart. Please note that you can select multiple items up to 10.
Configuration Rules and Hierarchy
Hierarchy Logic
- Company Level > Location Level > Register Level
- Lower levels override higher-level configurations.
Preserve Specific Configurations
- Location-level quick keys are not overwritten by company-level changes.
- Register-level quick keys are not overwritten by location-level changes.
Overwrite Features
- Add options to overwrite:
- Location-level quick keys with company-level settings.
- Register-level quick keys with company-level settings.
Important Notes
- If company-level quick keys are configured, they apply to all locations and registers unless overridden by specific quick keys. The same applies at the location level.
- If company-level quick keys are set, you can add additional quick keys without removing the existing ones.
