The Customer display is a plugin built into Brazil POS that allows you to use your tablet or other display as a Customer display.
If you use a tablet as a client screen, a Customer display application must be installed on the device (downloaded from an Android or iOS app store).

Step 1. Enable the Customer Display plugin
Go to the epos.erply.com
Navigate to the Settings (cog icon) -> Plugins.
Find the “Customer Display” plugin.
Tick the plugin check box to enable it.
Once done, a green screen button appears in the POS menu bar.
Step 2. Configure the Customer Display
Customer Display is customisable from the POS Settings -> Plugins -> Customer Display -> click on the ‘Configure Plugin’ button.
Workflow configuration
“Show row discount as percentage” - enable it if you like to display discounts in the shopping cart in %. If setting is disabled, discounts will be displayed in amounts with currency.
“Accepting customer creation form opens the form in POS” - if enabled the customer creation form opens in the POS once the cashier accepts the customer registration that comes from Customer Display app.
“Change what happens after the sale” - select what will be happening after the transaction is done:
- No extra action
- Show email input
- Show QR code with receipt link
- Show QR code with custom link
Click on the ‘Save workflow configuration’ button to save changes.
Fields to include in customer creation form
Choose and select fields that you would like to have in the customer creation form on the customer´s display.
Once selected click on the ‘Save customer form’ button to save changes.
Display app customization
In this section you are able to set up titles and button names which will be displayed on the Customer display.
Note: if you have configured any fields, select the check box that enables the current setting. Otherwise changes won´t be displayed on the Customer display and values will be taken from another configuration level.
If you need to reset configuration to default click on the ‘reset config’ button under the configuration section.
Custom ads
In the “Custom ads” section add a picture for advertisement on a full screen display. This picture will be displayed during the period of inactivity.
Once done click ‘save ads’.
In the “Custom small ads” section add a picture for a side-view advertisement. It will be displayed for the customer during adding products to the shopping cart.
Once done click ‘save ads’.
If you need more ads just click on the ‘Add new ad’ and the new row for the extra ad will appear below.
Note:There is no fixed resolution for pictures. It varies depending on screen resolution.
Font
In the font section it is possible to set up the font size and thickness on the customer´s display summary section (at the bottom):
- Enter the numeric value to the Font size field or switch size numbers using arrows (font size must be between 14-60)
- Select the font thickness in the Font weight column.
- Click on the “Save conf” when you have configured this section.
QR code
At the end of the transaction the customer will see the QR code. The QR code can include any information that could be useful for customers (ex. Website, feedback questionnaire).
To configure the QR code enter the Title and Subtitle that will be displayed under the QR code.
Set up the Timeout how long the QR code will be displayed on the screen.
Add an URL to the Data field that will be opened while scanning the QR code.
Important to know
After customizing or editing settings, the Customer Display plugin will require a restart to apply the settings. Generate new channel code and perform an exit on the customer display screen. Login with new channel code that was generated after changes in the configuration.
Step 3. Generate channel code
In the Brazil POS navigate to the Settings -> Plugins -> “Customer Display”.
Click on the ‘configure plugin’.
Click on the ‘GENERATE CHANNEL CODE’.
Step 4. Open and login to the Customer Display

First way
In the Brazil POS navigate to the Settings -> Plugins -> “Customer Display”.
In the “External customer display” section click on the “Open external customer display” button.
Second way
Click on the green screen button from the POS menu bar on the top of the screen.
In the list of options there is a button “Open external customer display app”. Click on it. Afterwards the Customer Display is opened in a separate window.
Login to the Customer Display
On the Customer Display screen you can see the “Enter code shown on POS” field. Please enter the generated channel code on step 3.
Click Start.
Your Customer Display is configured and ready to use!
