POS Menu
Overview: This guide explains the key features and functions available in the POS sales menus, helping manage transactions, customer interactions, and end-of-day processes efficiently.
New Sale
- Clears all products and customer information from the cart, allowing you to start a new sale
Open Sales
- Displays all saved or open sales.
- Options available:
- View: Check the details of open sales.
- Merge: Combine multiple open sales into one.
- Delete: Remove open sales.
- Important Note: Open sales are automatically deleted after 24 hours, based on the Back Office timezone.
Recent Sales
- Shows all recent sales and return transactions.
- Search Options:
- Invoice number
- Client name
- Date range (customizable)
- Additional Features:
- View product details, quantities, and totals.
- Print or email receipts directly to customers.
- Customize result pages to display up to 100 entries.
Sales Order
- Lists all sales orders similar to recent sales.
- Search Options:
- Invoice number
- Client name
- Date range
- Merge Option: Combine multiple sales orders as needed.
Close Day
- Allows cashiers and managers to close the register by entering:
- Remaining Cash: The amount left in the register.
- Deposits & Counted Amounts: Cash counted at the end of the day.
- Notes & Reason Codes: Customizable through POS configuration settings, with options to make these fields mandatory.
Cash In & Out
- Manages cash-in and cash-out activities.
- Configuration: Enable this feature in the POS settings to grant access to specific users.
Customer Display
- Provides a view for customers, showing scanned products and enabling them to:
- Confirm Payments: View total amounts and confirm transactions.
- Sign Digitally: Sign receipts directly on the screen.
- View Advertisements: Display promotional pictures or videos added through the Customer Manager.
