Go into the POS > Payment Configuration Settings > Find the option labeled. "Enable pre-authorization"
Setup the Pre Authorized Funds as a Order
Allows you to save a sale as a order and pre authorize the funds so once you want to pick it up you do not need to bring your card.
When making a sale to make a Pre-authorized order, first you "Save it as Order" then it takes you to the purchase screen click the button marked "pre-authorize" this will ask for the card to be swiped and once it is, now you are done setting up the Pre authorized funds for the order to be picked up.

When having the order be picked up, make sure the same customer is selected (otherwise it cannot detect the funds) and do the normal process of picking up a order.
When processing the pickup make sure you click the same button when setting up the Pre-authorized funds, but the button should now say "Use Pre-authorized funds". Then confirm the sale and its complete.
Note
Any sale put in as a Order for pickup later using Pre Authorized funds. When the order is picked up and the sale is complete is when the money will be counted.
EX : Order placed on the 10th, picked up on the 20th. The sale will count as sold on the 20th not the 10th when the order was placed.
