Required steps and tools
- A separate customer group created in the warehouse management system
- Personal ID code field filled in on customer cards
- Campaign or price list configured in the warehouse system (Back Office)
- ID card reader or bank payment terminal
- Installer app and microservice installed on the computer
1. Customer Group
Create a customer group where you can assign customers who have registered with an ID card and whose personal identification number field is filled in.
Where you can create a customer group: Back Office -> Customers -> Customer Groups.
2. ID number on customer's card
In order to identify customers with an ID card, the personal identification number field must be filled in.
If it is empty, the cash register will throw a registration form.

3. Promotion or price list for customer group
You can create a promotion in Back Office -> Retail -> Promotions.
In the “Restrict” view, specify the customer group in the “Promotion only applies to customer groups” field:
In case you would like to create a price list, please navigate to the Back Office -> Retail -> Price lists. Once the price list has been created, it needs to be assigned to a customer group.
In order to do that please navigate to the Back Office -> Customers -> Customer groups -> choose a group -> right click -> click Edit.
4. Id reader or bank payment terminal (Swedbank payment integration)
In order to be able to read ID cards, an ID reader or bank payment terminal should be connected to the computer (cash register). If you want to use ID reading on a bank payment terminal, the bank must activate it on your terminal.
5. Erply Installer app and microservice
To activate ID reading in Erply, you need to install the Installer app and microservice on your computer. Follow the instructions HERE.

How do customers register at the Brazil checkout with an ID card?
The customer must insert their ID card into the reader or payment terminal. After that, the POS system will open a customer registration form with some fields already filled in. More information about this can be found HERE.
