POS Cart Information

This guide explains all of the terms and functions in the cart when ringing a customer up at the POS.

Customer information

The name of the customer making the purchase
The customer group of the customer making the purchase

Store: How much store credit the customer has
Reward: How many reward points the customer has accrued
Visit: How many times the customer has visited your store

Details: Opens the customer card to show detailed information such as customer account notes, contact information, and more. You can edit customer information from this page.
Purchase: Allows you to view and open past purchases that the customer has made. You can quickly print past receipts from this page.

Transaction information

The following information applies to each line item:

Name: The name of the product.
Code: The product’s code.
Qty: The quantify of this item in the customer’s cart
Price: How much the product costs before tax.

Adjustment line:
If a product was discounted, or is eligible for a promotion or a coupon, the Adjustment line will display the amount discounted off of the line item.
If the adjustment is receipt-wide, the savings will be shown in the cart total (see below)

Percent button (%): Add a percent discount, adjust the item’s cart quantity, or attach an employee commission to that item’s sale.
… button: View and edit the item’s price, apply a flat discount, adjust the item’s cart quantity, or attach an employee commission to that item’s sale.
X button: Remove the item from the cart.

Total: The total of all items in the cart, without tax.
Discount: If applicable, the total discount amount the customer is receiving. 
Tax: The total the customer will pay in taxes.
Net: Total of all items in the cart after tax.
