The Pseudo-tax Products plugin is a valuable tool that allows you to configure certain products to act as additional taxes on top of the sale in the Erply Brazil POS system. By enabling this plugin, you can easily set up and apply pseudo-taxes to specific products, providing flexibility in calculating taxes based on your business requirements.

Pre-Requisites

Before proceeding with the setup and usage of the Pseudo-tax Products plugin, ensure that the following prerequisites are met:

  1. The user must have the necessary permissions to access the extended settings menu in the Erply Brazil POS system.
  2. Create a service product in the Back Office and add the following attributes:
    • taxProducts_percentage: Type: Int, Value: 10% (as an example for a 10% pseudo-tax addon)
    • taxProducts_apply-to: Type: Int, Value: 1
  3. Add the taxProducts_taxed-by attribute to an existing regular product where you want the pseudo-tax to be applied:
    • taxProducts_taxed-by: Type: Int, Value: URL parameter ID value of the pseudo-tax product created in step 2.

Steps

Follow these steps to set up and configure the Pseudo-tax Products plugin:

  1. Log in to the Erply Brazil POS system using your credentials.
  2. Click on the Settings icon (Gear Icon) located in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. From the settings menu, select Plugins.
  4. In the plugins page, use the search functionality to find the Pseudo-tax Products plugin.
  5. Activate the plugin by clicking the checkbox next to the Pseudo-tax Products plugin.

Testing

To verify the functionality of the Pseudo-tax Products plugin, perform the following testing steps:

  1. Log in to the Erply Brazil POS system using your credentials.
  2. Select the item that you have configured with the pseudo-tax attributes mentioned in the prerequisites section above.
  3. Observe the total amount, which will reflect a 10% increase on top of the original price due to the pseudo-tax being applied.
