Flax POS Initial Setup

1. Open the App Store
   1. Go to the Back Office.
   2. Open the App Store.
2. Install the Applications
   1. Search for the Flax pos Configuration, Flax pos & Flax pos Login.
   2. 
   3. Click on Install to add the applications to your account.
3. Before moving on to any configurations click on ‘modules’ for the Flax pos application and turn on modules like on the screenshot below and confirm.

   2. The modules in Your app store might be in different order - please make sure You turn on the right ones.
4. Open Configurations application and fill in the currencies in the General configuration page
   1. You can navigate through the configuration tabs to make additional changes if needed. However, simply adding the currencies and saving will set you up with an initial POS
   2. 
5. Next we need to create a role and a user. Open ‘Manage roles’ from the sidebar in Flax pos Configurations.
   1. Create a role - for example: Manager
   2. Note: If a role already exists, there’s no need to create it just skip this step.
   3. 
6. Navigate to Role Settings after creating the role.
   1. Select the newly created role.
   2. Update any setting (this will activate the Save button).
   3. Click Save to store the role configuration.
7. Next step is to create a User 
   1. Navigate to either Create POS User or Create POS User with Pin page and follow the form to create a user.
      1. Pin users can log in straight away
      2. Users with a password will receive a confirmation email and can set their password through there.
         1. Important Note: If you did not receive the secret key, please let us know and we will provide it to you.

1. How to change the POS link in Your Back Office menu:
   • Click on Apps in the menu tab. From the dropdown list, select POS Configuration.
   • To open the POS, you can go directly to this link (https://automat-us.erply.com/public/CLIENTCODE/en/fo-login-page) and add your client code. 
   • Alternatively, you can change the POS link in the Back Office to redirect you to Flax POS everytime you click the POS.

1. POS Login
   • Once create the user (step 7) you will be able to log in to the POS.
   • The first thing you will see is the list of locations you have set up in the Back Office and registers. 

1. Opening the Day
   • Once you select the location and register, the option to open the day will appear. If you successfully open the day, you’ll be directed to the shopping cart.

Important Note: If you're unable to open the day, please let us know and we’ll provide further instructions on how to fix it.
