Invoice notes report

This guide will explain how to create a basic report that shows customer-facing and internal notes associated with an invoice.

Please note that this guide only includes minimum information, but more data can be added in the report generator tool.

Creating a report that shows invoice notes

Start by naming your report. You may also choose to nest it within a group of reports.

On the left-hand Tables column, check off Sales document and Sales document row.

Sales document section

Check off Date. Choose the equals sign (=) as the Constraint and Conditions, then type in the date you wish to view orders generated.

Alternatively, you can view all orders within a certain date range by selecting is within range as the Constraint and Conditions, then typing in your preferred date range.

Check off Additional text printed on the invoice if you want to view external, customer-facing notes.

Check off Notes if you want to view internal notes.

Sales document row section

Check off Product

Check off amount. 

Check off Net total.

Scroll to the top of the report generate and click Save.

Press Open report to view the report.
