ID card system in Brazil POS allows you to create and search for clients faster.
In order to set it up you need to install a few required Erply services. Please follow steps from this GUIDE.
Create customer in Brazil POS using ID card system
- Make sure you are in the main Brazil POS view - ID card reading will happen only in main view.
- Insert the ID card into the payment terminal/ID reader device
- If this is a new client and does not exist in the system yet, the POS will open the customer registration form and fill the following fields - first name, last name, birthday, personal code.
- If this is an existing client, the POS will automatically select it and you can proceed with sales.

Search for an existing customer in Brazil POS using ID card
- Insert the ID card into the payment terminal/ID reader device
- The POS will automatically select it and you can proceed with sales.
Note: In case you have multiple clients in the system with the same personal code, the POS will select automatically the last created one.
