Modules are optional features turned on or off for the whole account under Modules in the left menu. Changes apply to the POS at the next login.
Managing modules
Modules
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Search modules | Finds a module by name. Press / to jump to the search box |
| All / On / Off | Filters the list to all modules, only those turned on, or only those turned off. Each shows a count |
| ON / OFF switch | Turns the module on or off |
| Expand arrow (>) | Opens the module to show its details |
| Discard | Cancels changes not yet saved |
| Save | Saves the changes. All changes saved shows when nothing is pending |
Modules and the App Store
Modules are installed from the App Store. A module has to be installed there before it can be turned on or off on the Modules page. All current modules are independent modules: each can be turned on without depending on any other module.
Finding modules in the App Store

| Type | Filters by Full, Bundle, Asset or Module. Choose Module to list the Flax Enterprise modules |
Each app card shows its rating, its type and BETA labels, a short description, the latest version number, and its status: Not installed, New, Up to date or Out of date (a newer version is available).

Available modules

| Flax Enterprise Account Sales Module | Adds account sales to the POS, so a customer can check out without paying at the register and use their available credit instead |
| Flax Enterprise Balloon Ordering | Adds a balloon pre-ordering flow. Cashiers capture customer orders with scheduled pickup times and print dedicated order receipts |
| Flax Enterprise Create an Offer Module | Enables the flow for creating an offer in the POS |
| Flax Enterprise Create Inventory Transfers Module | Enables creating inventory transfers in the POS |
| Flax Enterprise Donation Module | Location-level charitable giving prompts. Managers assign a donation item to each location, and the POS prompts cashiers at the time of sale to round the total up to the nearest dollar or another configured amount |
| Flax Enterprise Gift Card Alias Module | Improves gift card search: gift cards can be found by an alias that is mapped to the Erply gift card code |
| Flax Enterprise Givex Module | Lets the POS accept Givex gift cards as payment and sell Givex cards |
| Flax Enterprise Historical Sales Module | Shows historical sales documents in the POS, based on data provided, and allows returns against them |
| Flax Enterprise Loyalty Points Payment | Configurable loyalty points redemption, including a custom points-based payment type and currency conversion. Covered in the separate Loyalty Points guide |
| Flax Enterprise NetSuite Gift Cards Module | Brings NetSuite gift cards into POS checkout. Cashiers can look up a balance from NetSuite, apply regular gift cards and customer Pure Rewards certificates as payment, and completed sales-document payments sync back to NetSuite. Role and configuration settings control whether NetSuite gift cards are allowed, including on returns |
