The grid buttons on the POS screen can be recolored and, for most buttons, hidden. These are company-wide settings under UI > UI, layout and personalisation > Grid Buttons.
Grid button settings

| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Color swatches | Sets the button's color. Each button offers a light and a strong shade of gray, green, orange, purple, blue and red |
| Show | Shows or hides the button for the whole company |
| Preview | Shows the grid as it will look with the current choices |
| Reset to Default | Restores the default colors and visibility |
| Save | Applies the changes. Changes take effect only once saved |
Showing or hiding a button is best kept for buttons the business does not use. It does not replace role permissions, cart-state rules or other feature settings, which still decide who can use an available button and when.
